LED Industry needs solve Three Major Problems to Develop

Zong Peimin,chairman of Zhejiang Huarui Investment Management Limited said:China’s LED industry still faces several obstacles to overcome;who already invested several LED companies.

First of all, to improve Luminous efficiency. LED lights want to occupy most market of general consumers,the Luminous efficiency of warm white series should raise to above 100lm / W (lumens / watt),then production costs can be decreased by 25%, electricity costs will be more competitive than the tradition.

Second, to solve the heat problem. High power LED has a high requirement on the cooling techniques, when the environmental temperature reaches a certain height will lead LED light decay very quickly to decrease the natural life of LED. We only can extend high power LED in large scale by solving the heat problem.

Furthermore, to reduce the LED price. Price is a key factor which directly affects penetration of LED lighting, although the total cost of LED lamps (including the acquisition cost + Energy cost + maintenance cost + disposal cost) is lower than incandescent and fluorescent light,however consumers still set acquisition cost as their choice standard and do not care about quality or its versatility.
